Job summary

Controlled Products Systems Group (CPSG), affiliated with Chamberlain Group, is a on-site customer care role handling order entry, status updates, and claims for dealers and installers across multiple markets. You will respond to product inquiries, process orders, and coordinate with branches to ensure timely fulfillment.

The position requires on-site attendance, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and forklift experience. Bilingual Spanish is preferred; drivers license required.

Responsibilities

  • Enter orders into the systems and expedite per procedures.

  • Maintain safety and quality by following standard work and policies.
  • Assist with inventory tracking and restocking at the branch.

With a personal approach to business, our employees—whether in one of our branches nationwide or at our corporate office—are committed to serving our customers and supplier partners with dedication and expertise.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain heavy daily telephone contact with external and internal customers regarding product information, needs and availability, etc.Enter orders into the systems, and expedites them according to established processes and procedures; respond to customer requests in order to ensure highest level of customer serviceFollow-up with customers regarding the status of their open orders and relay shipping information; utilize CRM solutions to initiate and process customer cases, and create and maintain reportsInitiate and process customer claims and disputes; distribute customer email inquiries to the appropriate branch personnelPerform assigned tasks utilizing standard work and policies in order to ensure highest levels of safety and quality, including ensuring clean and safe working environmentAssist with inventory tracking, maintenance and overall restocking efforts of the branchMeet and greet all will call customers and ensure their orders are completed expeditiouslyReview dealer web orders to determine if they require special handling due to inventory, location or special shipping instructionsOperate forklift and other branch equipment as requiredThis position requires regular and predictable on-site attendance and the ability to work the particular shift and/or schedule to which you are assigned, as well as additional hours as neededComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teamsProtect CPSG’s reputation by keeping information confidentialMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societiesContribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as neededMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma/GEDMinimum of 2 years customer care experience, manufacturing or distribution environmentKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills; strong computer skillsOther:Valid driver’s licenseAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 poundsAbility to stand, walk, and sit upAbility to use hand to finger, handle, or feelAbility to climb or balanceAbility to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawlAbility to reach with hands and armsAbility to talk or hearPreferred QualificationsSome college or equivalent experienceForklift experienceProficiency in Spanish#INDCHPThe pay range for this position is $19.04 - $29.06/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
