Job summary

Disney Experiences is seeking an Associate HRBP to support the Disney Live Entertainment team at Disneyland. You will help deliver HR programs aligned with short- and long-term business goals.

You will consult with partners on HR processes, generate predictive analytics from reports, and guide performance management. Requires a Bachelor's in HR or related field, 2+ years HR generalist experience, and Workday/SAP exposure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or combination equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in HR facets including organization development, employee relations, talent acquisition, learning & development, and compensation.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consultation and support to Disney Live Entertainment team to deliver HR programs and solutions.
  • Collaborate with HR team, managers and employees to improve work relationships and retention.
  • Partner on moderately complex HR processes and initiatives integrating COE partners as needed.
  • Run reports to provide predictive analytics for future decisions.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance.
  • Assist with Workday transactions.

Job description

Job Summary: As an Associate HRBP, you will be providing consultation and support to the Disney Live Entertainment team at Disneyland to deliver HR programs and solutions in support of both short-term and long-term business goals for Disney Experiences.

Your Role Responsibilities…
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of the business and take a consultative approach in anticipating, assessing, and providing creative HR solutions to business priorities.
  • Work closely with HR team, managers, and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide guidance to clients by partnering on moderately complex HR processes, procedures, precedents, and initiatives integrating appropriate centers of excellence (COE) partners, as necessary.
  • Run and utilize reports to provide predictive analytics for future changes or decisions.
  • Provide day to day performance management guidance.
  • Consult on and/or execute Workday transactions.
  • Assists with key talent processes including performance calibrations, talent review, succession planning, leadership development and talent assessment.
  • Handles correspondence with clients including high level executives.
What You Bring…
  • Minimum of 2 years human resources generalist experience in progressively responsible roles
  • Experience and exposure to a variety of HR facets including organization development, employee relations, talent acquisition, learning & development, and compensation.
  • Proven ability to build strong, trusted, and effective relationships with partners and clients.
  • Excellent consulting and conflict management skills
  • Sound judgment to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and recommend multiple solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong time management skills, especially in an ambiguous environment
  • Self-starter with the ability to function independently with minimal supervision in a matrixed, fast-paced organization.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws

Required Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or combination equivalent work experience.
Preferred Education:
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

The hiring range for this position in Anaheim CA is $87,200.00 – $106,400.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
