Job summary

IBM Consulting FutureNow Centers seeks an Associate Designer to shape visual experiences for enterprise digital products. You will create UI components, design systems, and brand-aligned experiences, applying typography, color theory, layout and accessibility best practices.

You will engage in human-centered research, translate findings into actionable insights, and prototype with industry-standard tools. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is expected as part of an Agile delivery approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field required.
• Strong typography, color, layout and visual hierarchy skills.
• Experience with Figma, XD, Sketch or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Understanding of UX design principles and human-centered design.
• Ability to present concepts clearly to peers and stakeholders.
• Academic projects or internships demonstrating craft.

Responsibilities

• Create visual assets, UI components, and design systems for enterprise digital products.
• Support human-centered research and translate findings into design decisions.
• Prototype and iterate using industry-standard tools and present concepts to teams.
• Collaborate with designers, strategists, developers, and clients in Agile settings.
• Explore AI and automation tools to inform scalable design solutions.
