Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Ashburn, VA, is seeking a Senior Health, Safety and Environment Consultant to help manage EHS programs across accounts or large market areas.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and create programs that meet regulatory requirements and client needs.
  • Evaluate existing programs to assess suitability and the need for changes, suggesting improvements and new programs as needed.
  • Act as a resource to staff and internal customers as the HSE subject matter expert.
  • Provide direct and timely advice and information to account management, market area, or other assigned areas, discussing client performance, compliance, trends, and concerns.
  • Oversee specific HSE plans, playbooks, and procedures for the assigned account or market area, ensuring they are up-to-date, complete, and implemented.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs while enhancing the quality of services.
  • Apply advanced knowledge to develop new methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
  • Showcase expertise in your own discipline and in-depth knowledge of other disciplines within the organization.
  • Coach others to develop expertise in most or all areas within the function.
  • Lead by example, model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, and persuade others, often at senior levels, to adopt alternative viewpoints.
  • Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi‑discipline teams, guided by functional policies.
  • Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and operational plans supporting functional goals.

About the Role

As a CBRE Health, Safety and Environment Sr. Consultant, you will assist in the management of Environmental Health and Safety programs relative to several accounts or large market areas.
