Mystic Lake Casino is seeking an Associate HR Business Partner to support leaders and team members, ensuring consistent policy application and a strong employee experience on site.

This entry-level role focuses on building trusted relationships, assisting with performance cycles, engagement initiatives, and workforce planning, while partnering with HR COEs to deliver exceptional hospitality-focused HR services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field and 2+ years of HR experience.
• Foundational understanding of employment law and core HR practices.
• Experience contributing to project management initiatives.
• Experience partnering with business leaders to provide consultation and make recommendations.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, written).
• Industry experience in hospitality or entertainment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support and policy guidance to leaders and teams.
• Coach leaders on routine employee issues and escalate as needed.
• Build relationships with leaders and consult on people issues and trends.
• Support in performance management, engagement, and workforce planning.
• Develop tools/templates for coaching conversations and documentation.
• Partner with HR COEs to ensure smooth service delivery.
