Associate, Horizontal Operations - Enterprise Onboarding

Capital One's Enterprise Learning & Development team is seeking an Associate to support all logistics and horizontal operations that make Enterprise Onboarding run! In this role, you will own the logistics, operations, and delivery for all Enterprise Onboarding on-site and virtual events, partnering with stakeholders across the enterprise to create a welcoming environment for our newest associates!

As Capital One's flagship onboarding program, Enterprise Onboarding is the first learning experience new associates have at Capital One. Enterprise Onboarding supports all associates and aims to provide a seamless, helpful, and engaging onboarding experience across all job families. Our flagship onboarding program includes a 2-day welcoming experience in an associates first week, with additional resources provided thereafter to fuel a new associates’ growth and development. You would support delivery and execution of this flagship program.

How You’ll Work

Our dedicated Enterprise Onboarding Team team works with highly engaged partners to envision and deliver the future of onboarding at Capital One. As an Associate focused on horizontal operations, you will deliver the logistics for event logistics and support horizontal initiatives across the team.

Program Operations & Horizontal Support

• Own staffing and scheduling for major Enterprise Onboarding events, including on-site staff and virtual facilitator management
• Manage room bookings, space setup, catering, and on-site logistics by partnering with GWS and local site contacts to ensure readiness
• Partner with Hiring Logistics to receive and review weekly list of new hires
• Partner with Associate Experience Technology to ensure all materials, technology, and supplies are prepared and available
• Oversee weekly delivery of new hire onboarding and troubleshoot real-time issues for new hires
• Identify and recommend improvements to enhance the onboarding experience
• Manage shared onboarding inbox for all new hire inquiries, providing timely and consistent responses to new hires
• Partner with Customer Success Lead and Program Manager on communications for associates and people leaders, ensuring all parties feel confident ahead of their onboarding experience
• Own team budget, including tracking and auditing on a cadenced basis
• Manage the team's well-managed arm including ownership of monthly newsletters, supporting google drive organization, and additional documentation
• Support ad-hoc horizontal initiatives as needed across the team

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or Military Experience
• At least 1 year of experience in Project Management, Process Management, or Learning & Development or combination
• At least 1 year in event management or supporting tactical program logistics

• 2+ years of experience in Project or Process Management
• 2+ years of event management and logistics experience

McLean, VA: $73,300 - $83,700 for Learning AssociateRichmond, VA: $66,700 - $76,100 for Learning Associate

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
