Job summary

The Peterson Center on Healthcare in New York City (and Washington, DC area) is seeking an Associate to support grant-making and strategy development aimed at improving affordable employer-sponsored health insurance. The role reports to an Associate Director and involves grant lifecycle support, research, and stakeholder coordination.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in healthcare management or strategy, a Bachelor's degree, and strong project coordination, research, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Three years or more experience in healthcare management or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in health policy or related field.
• Experience with employer-sponsored insurance and healthcare purchasing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support grant lifecycle from ideation to evaluation and dissemination.
• Develop and maintain grant management processes and reports.
• Coordinate meetings, take notes, and synthesize takeaways for senior staff.
• Perform environmental scans, due diligence and research on potential partners.
• Attend conferences to gather insights and inform strategy.
