Eckert & Ziegler Isotope Products, Inc. seeks an Associate Health Physicist to support radiological safety programs in Valencia and Burbank, CA.

The role reports to the Supervising Health Physicist and involves daily lab support, surveillance, dose assessment, and compliance with applicable regulations. Minimum BS in Health Physics with 1–2 years in health physics; travel between Valencia and Burbank is required; strong communication and instrument proficiency are essential; onsite duties

Qualifications

• BS in Health Physics or related field with radiological laboratory experience.
• MS in Health Physics or related subject preferred.
• 1–2 years of Health Physics-related experience.
• Must be able to travel to Valencia and Burbank.

Responsibilities

• Support radiological safety programs and compliance with regulations.
• Provide daily lab support for chemists and health physics tasks.
• Maintain health physics records and calibrate instruments as needed.
• Coordinate waste handling and regulatory communications.
• Assist with dose assessments and safety program improvements.
