Textron Systems is seeking an Associate Hardware Designer to support unmanned military product lines. You will create and check mechanical content, 3D models, drawings, and BOMs using NX and SolidWorks, ensuring compliance with ASME Y14 standards.

As part of a design team, you’ll receive tasks from senior designers and engineers, translate requirements into production-ready documentation, and contribute to design for manufacturability across electromechanical assemblies.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed associate degree in Drafting and Design Technology.
• Experience with NX or similar 3D CAD software.
• Knowledge of ASME Y14 GD&T and drawing checking.

Responsibilities

• Create mechanical solid models from sketches and specs.
• Receive, create and record JIRA tickets for tracking.
• Translate engineering requirements to source documentation and records.
• Release specifications, drawings, and ECNs in eMATRIX.
• Interface with engineers to ensure manufacturability feedback.
• Develop drawings for machining, sheet metal forming and weldments.
• Produce electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
