Job description

This role will be onsite at our Bentonville location 5 days per week. Only candidates in the Bentonville area will be considered.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Associate Graphic Designer oversees the artistic development of design materials. Develops graphics for various creative projects, including environmental design, retail, presentations, brochures, catalogs, corporate identity, and packaging. Designs may incorporate typographic, photographic, illustrative, and graphic elements. The Associate Graphic Designer collaborates with Graphic Designers, Design Directors, Art Directors, and Environmental/Interior Designers to develop concepts and often specializes in a particular medium.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  1. Assist with design, layout, and formatting.
  2. Maintain consistent graphic identities for clients across projects.
  3. Work closely with the design team to implement strong graphic concepts.
  4. Assist in preparing presentations, including assembling mock-ups, formatting slides, and organizing visual assets.
  5. Prepare final press-ready designs and layouts.
  6. Assist with pre-flighting, file collection, and archiving.
  7. Attend press checks and ensure quality standards.
  8. Collaborate with the production manager on workflow.
  9. Be organized and detail-oriented.
  10. Maintain punctuality and regular attendance.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field from a 4-year college, university, or art school.

Experience: 1-3 years preferred. Experience in exhibit, tradeshow, or retail design is a plus.

Skills: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
