Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking an Associate for Global Transaction Analytics, based in Boston. You will join a fast-growing GTA team providing data analytics across the transaction lifecycle from pre-deal to post-deal analysis for private equity and corporate clients.

You will work on buy-side/sell-side due diligence, extract insights from data, mentor junior members, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive actionable business insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Information Systems or a related field.
• Understanding of data extraction, manipulation, analytics and visualization approaches.
• Strong technical background with hands-on data analytics experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL querying, Alteryx, Tableau, BI software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with numerous client engagements.
• Extract insights from data sets and trends using various tools and techniques.
• Facilitate day-to-day client interaction and relationships.
• Work across stakeholders and mentor junior team members.
• Contribute to data-enabled financial and operational transparency across deals.
