Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking an Associate for Global Transaction Analytics in the United States. You will join a fast-paced GTA practice that supports private equity and corporate clients through data-enabled insights across the investment lifecycle, from pre-deal diligence to post-deal performance improvements.

The role emphasizes hands-on analytics, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior members.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data analytics or transaction services
• Buy-side/vendor due diligence experience across industries preferred
• Understanding of M&A / PE investment lifecycle preferred
• Strong technical background with hands-on data analytics experience
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL querying, Alteryx, BI/visualization (Tableau preferred) and big data concepts

Responsibilities

• Assist with numerous client engagements
• Extract insights from data sets and trends by utilizing different tools and techniques
• Effectively facilitate day-to-day client interaction and relationships
• Work cohesively and collaboratively across stakeholders
• Counsel and mentor junior members of the team and continue to develop the team’s technical acumen
