Job summary

HarbourVest is seeking an Associate for Global Private Wealth – National Accounts – Platform Enablement in a hybrid role based in Boston. You will support onboarding, coordinate across internal teams, and assist with platform initiatives and RFPs, while maintaining CRM data accuracy and stakeholder communications.

The role requires 2–4 years in wealth/asset management, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams to meet tight timelines.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in wealth/asset management, preferably in alternative investments.
  • Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Science (B.S), or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support onboarding activities with distribution partners.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Marketing to ensure client requirements are met.
  • Track and manage agreement terms, documentation, and key deliverables across relationships.
  • Serve as key point of coordination across internal teams to ensure alignment and timely execution.
  • Partner closely with Marketing to support development and execution of platform-specific initiatives, campaigns, and conference attendance.
  • Support rollout of new products and platform enhancements by coordinating across relevant internal groups.
  • Partner with the Client Service team to ensure high-standard responsiveness and execution across platform relationships and serve as point of coordination for complex client service matters.
  • Monitor service delivery against partner expectations and identify opportunities to enhance the overall client experience.
  • Support preparation and submission of RFPs, DDQs, and ad hoc due diligence requests with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate and create presentation materials for meetings and platform operational due diligence sessions, including onsite visits.
  • Partner with senior team members to tailor messaging for specific platforms and audiences.
  • Maintain and update data in the CRM system and internal tracking documents to ensure accurate tracking of platform relationships and engagement activity.
  • Work with the Commercial Operations team to optimize marketing campaigns, client reporting and underlying activity tracking.
  • Develop and enhance CRM reporting to maintain up-to-date, comprehensive coverage of all platform relationships.
  • Compile and analyze fundraising metrics, engagement trends, and platform pipeline activity.
  • Support internal communication and preparation for senior-level meetings and updates.

We are hiring an Associate who will support the Global Private Wealth National Accounts team in managing and enhancing private wealth intermediary relationships. Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $100,000.00 – $110,000.00. The role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on individual and overall firm performance. Total compensation may include eligibility for long‑term reward programs and a comprehensive total rewards package, including retirement, health, insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs.

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid role, allowing 18 remote workdays per quarter subject to manager approval.
