Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school; Texas bar in good standing.
• Experience managing commercial insurance programs, including non-subscriber workers’ comp and related lines.
• Experience supervising outside counsel and negotiating complex contracts.
• Industry exposure in construction, manufacturing, distribution, retail, or transportation.
• Proficiency with MS Office and collaboration tools (Teams/Zoom).

Responsibilities

• Oversee outside counsel on litigated matters and provide strategic legal guidance.
• Manage insurance program renewals, coverage analyses, and risk transfer solutions.
• Develop and implement in-house general liability claims administration and training.
• Review and update contracts and corporate policies to mitigate risk.
• Support business units with contract review, risk assessments, and litigation planning.
