Booz Allen in Bethesda, MD seeks an Associate General Counsel specializing in Government Contracts. You will provide strategic legal guidance on FAR/DFARS, prime/subcontract negotiations, and regulatory compliance, partnering with senior leaders to shape solutions that enable mission-focused programs.

You’ll translate complex rules into practical business advice and track performance against KPIs, while collaborating across the Legal, Ethics and Compliance team to manage risk for National

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience practicing law in a law firm, corporate, or government environment, including supporting commercial and technology matters.
• Experience with government contracts law, including FAR, DFARS, federal procurement statutes and regulations, and bid protest jurisprudence.
• Experience leading or assisting with prime contract and subcontract negotiations, pre-award support, and post-award counseling.
• Experience partnering closely with senior business leaders to develop comprehensive solutions to problems.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate risks and root causes, and to aid in designing and implementing practical mitigation strategies or action plans.
• Ability to listen actively and ensure that the right questions are being asked and answered and translate legalese or regulations into succinct, clear, and workable business solutions.
• Ability to execute against clear goals, priorities, and success metrics or KPIs, and manage against program plans.
• J.D. degree
• Active bar admission with any U.S. state bar
