Job summary

Pacifico Energy, a leading energy infrastructure firm, is seeking an Associate General Counsel to support its growing portfolio of power generation and data center projects. The role partners with development, finance, operations, HR, and executive leadership to advance projects from concept through construction and operations, handling commercial contracting and corporate matters.

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school.
Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
Approximately 4–5 years of relevant legal experience.
Prior law firm experience.
Experience with project and/or equipment finance transactions.
Experience with corporate and M&A matters.
Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Business-minded, solutions-oriented approach.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

Review, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including NDAs, vendor agreements, development agreements, consulting agreements, and services agreements.
Assist with project development and transaction-related legal matters across Pacifico's data center and power generation portfolio.
Support corporate governance and entity management activities, including board and member-related matters, organizational documents, and routine corporate filings.
Coordinate with outside counsel on financing, M&A, real estate, regulatory, litigation, and corporate matters.
Work cross-functionally with development, finance, operations, HR, and executive leadership teams to anticipate legal needs and resolve issues quickly.
