Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and bar admission in one or more states PacifiCorp conducts business.
• Minimum five years’ transactional/commercial law experience in a law firm or in-house setting.
• In-depth knowledge of legal/regulatory issues affecting electric utilities and related governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support on complex commercial matters including drafting and negotiating contracts for utility transactions.
• Advise management on legal risk, policy implications, and strategic decisions.
• Represent PacifiCorp in hearings, regulatory matters, and coordinate with outside counsel.
