Job summary

Blayze Group is seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel to join its established real estate investment, development and management business in Dallas. This senior in-house role offers direct exposure to executive leadership, investment teams, lenders and operational stakeholders.

The successful attorney will manage complex real estate transactions while supporting the broader legal function and governance matters.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
• 10+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong background in acquisitions, dispositions and real estate finance.
• Experience across multifamily and/or commercial real estate.
• Law firm, in-house or combined experience considered.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and commercial judgment.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements and acquisition/disposition documentation.
• Lead legal support across real estate financing and loan transactions.
• Review and negotiate commercial leases, development agreements and construction contracts.
• Advise on LLC agreements, partnership structures, ownership matters and corporate governance.
• Review title commitments, surveys, easements and transactional due diligence.
• Partner with executive leadership, lenders, investors and internal operating teams.
• Manage relationships with outside counsel.
• Coordinate litigation and dispute resolution matters with external legal advisers.

Blayze Group is partnering with an established real estate investment, development and management business to appoint an experienced Associate General Counsel.

This is a senior in-house position offering direct exposure to executive leadership, investment teams, lenders and operational stakeholders. The successful attorney will play a key role across complex real estate transactions while also supporting the wider legal function.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements and acquisition/disposition documentation


• Lead legal support across real estate financing and loan transactions


• Review and negotiate commercial leases, development agreements and construction contracts
