Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in the United States seeks an experienced fund controller professional to review NAVs, capital allocations and carried interest calculations. The role entails ensuring accuracy in management fees and exploring regulatory and financial compliance for internal and external reporting.

You will also forecast fund expenses, coordinate with tax, investor relations and middle office, and address queries from investors and auditors in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of US GAAP and IFRS.
• 4+ years’ experience in private equity and/or hedge fund accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Strong written and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review quarterly or monthly NAVs, capital allocations, carried interest and management fee calculations.
• Review capital calls and distributions notices.
• Review financial statements and address auditor inquiries during annual audits.
• Assist with regulatory and financial compliance for internal and external reporting.
• Prepare forecast of fund expense budgets for new and ongoing funds.
• Collaborate with tax, investor relations and middle office teams.
• Assist in addressing investor and internal/external queries.
