Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking an Associate Analyst – Finance to support forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis for the U.S. Fuel Distribution segment. You will produce monthly reports, perform variance analyses, and deliver actionable insights by translating data into the story behind the numbers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 0–3 years of relevant work experience (FP&A, business partnership, consulting).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills linking financial results to drivers.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with U.S. Fuel Distribution operations to provide financial reporting, budgets, and projections aligned with company goals.
• Maintain monthly reports supporting commercial results analysis.
• Perform variance analysis and articulate the story behind the numbers.
• Identify opportunities for improved performance tracking for base and acquired businesses.
• Support automation and efficiency in recurring reporting processes.
• Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for leadership.
