Job summary

TIAA is seeking an experienced financial professional to help participants with their pension plans, tax‑deferred annuities, IRAs, 529s and other investments. You will educate clients on purchases and provide authoritative guidance for financial planning decisions.

You will support retirement plan participants, execute transactions, collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement TIAA products, and build strong sponsor relationships.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in financial services; 3+ preferred.
• Experience with retirement plans, tax-deferred products, and financial planning.
• Active FINRA registrations (Series 7; Series 63) is a plus.

• Answers participant questions on their pension plans, tax‑deferred annuities and other available investment options to help clients retain and grow assets.
• Educates and facilitates new product purchases (including retail mutual funds, annuities, IRAs, 529 and 403b, bank products, life insurance and others) and provides authoritative information for financial planning decisions.
• Interacts with retirement plan participants to provide exceptional customer service and execute transaction and service requests.
• Utilizes knowledge of tax and investment strategies to inform financial advice based on clients’ financial needs and objectives.
• Communicates internally with cross‑business partnerships to develop and implement TIAA products and services to support clients and company initiatives.
• Develops and maintains strong relationships with Institutional Plan Sponsors.

Pay Range

Base Pay Range: $62,900 per year – $91,700 per year.
