Job description

Key Responsibilities And Duties
  • Counsels participants on their pension plans, tax‑deferred annuities and other available investment options to help clients retain and increase assets.
  • Educates, recommends, and facilitates new product purchases (including retail mutual funds, annuities, IRAs, 529, 403(b), bank products, life insurance and others) and provides authoritative information for important personal financial planning decisions.
  • Interacts with retirement plan participants to provide exceptional customer service and execute transaction and service requests.
  • Utilizes knowledge of tax and investment strategies to inform financial advice based on clients' needs and objectives.
  • Communicates internally with cross‑business partnerships to develop and implement TIAA products and services that support clients and company initiatives.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with institutional plan sponsors.
Educational Requirements
  • University (Degree) Preferred
Work Experience
  • 3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred
FINRA Registrations
  • SRC Indicator: Series 7; Series 63
Licenses and Certifications
  • Life and Health Insurance License (Resident State) – multiple issuers required within 120 days

7IC – 3+ years of financial planning experience preferred. This is a hybrid working environment requiring a minimum of three days in the office per week.

Base Pay Range: $70,600/yr – $103,000/yr. May vary based on experience, time in role, salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
