Job summary

Edward Jones is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to partner with a financial advisor and the practice team to develop personalized financial strategies for clients. You will source new clients, nurture relationships, and contribute to the practice’s growth while delivering high-quality client service.

The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a drive to achieve goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional experience in financial services, sales, or related field
• Experience in sales, client relationship management, or roles requiring strong interpersonal skills
• Self-motivation and goal-driven in a performance-oriented environment
• Clear, confident communication to simplify complex concepts for clients
• Willingness to obtain Series 7, Series 66, and state insurance licenses within three months (sponsorship provided)
• Familiarity with financial planning software and digital engagement tools

Responsibilities

• Build and deepen client relationships by supporting discovery conversations and gathering key financial information
• Assist with comprehensive financial planning and modeling scenarios aligned with client goals
• Guide portfolio strategy and implementation, researching performance and costs and preparing proposals
• Collaborate with the advisor and team to deliver ongoing financial planning and reviews
• Support growth through outreach, referrals, and community engagement
