Short Intro and About the Job




Reporting to the Director - Finance, Chief of Staff and Special Projects, we are looking for a strong finance professional to manage reporting and analysis for the Sustainable Finance and M&A team. This is a key strategy position within the Danone Impact Journey cross functional support team. This role can be based out of White Plains, NY or Louisville, CO!

Responsibilities:

Prepare DIJ rolling forecast deliverables and Data Campaign/2030 Carbon Roadmap templates for key stakeholders at Global and NORAM level. Present long-term strategy towards addressing climate and regulation driven risks to leadership team.
  • You will partner with cross functional team such as Regenerative Agriculture to assess the ROI of implementing sustainability projects directly within Danone operations and within our supplier network. You will assist in preparing applications for grants and tax subsidies at the local, state and federal level to amplify the impact of sustainability projects on the business.
  • You will support the materials finance team in the Month-End close, Annual Operations Planning (AOP), Monthly forecasting and R&O process specific to DIJ initiatives.
  • On an as needed basis, this position will be responsible for assisting the integration and carve out of financials and systems related to acquisitions and divestitures that may arise as part of Danone's commitment to strategic portfolio rotation.
  • You will support the operations' group decision making with financial preparations for business cases, guiding the business to decisions which support long and short-term DIJ objectives and compliance with regulations.
  • You will lead budget tracking of White House Commitments to ensure Danone remains on track to external commitments.
  • Lead various ad hoc financial reporting requests including B Corp survey, PCR (post-consumer recycled content) laws, and customer sustainability surveys from Walmart, Costco, etc
  • Work with Carbon Master to validate NORAM carbon reporting accuracy in the Greentrack system

The base compensation range for this position is $95k-115k commensurate with experience. About You




  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • You have 4-7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, ideally consumer-facing company (e.g., consumer packaged goods, retail)
  • You have proven experience in financial analysis, executive presentations and relationship building
  • You have a solid understanding of accounting concepts
  • You have strong system skills including data modeling, specifically with SAP, Tagetik, Excel, Power BI
  • You work well as part of a cross-functional team
  • You have a proven track record in working under tight deadlines
  • You have a demonstrated ability to effectively interface, influence and build alignment with individuals and cross-functional teams at multiple levels
  • You have strong verbal and written presentation skills
  • You have proven organizational and time management skills
  • You have a solid analytical skillset, able to translate data and analysis into actionable changes
  • You have demonstrated ability to exercise judgment and make sound decisions
  • You are trustworthy and motivating with strong integrity
