Associate Finance Director, Manufacturing at a Glance….

The Associate Finance Director, Manufacturing serves as the voice of finance in the BU decision-making process for Cost, and supports the Pod in quarterly/annual reviews, monthly close processes, and the development of the annual budget and five-year strategic plan. This role also supports productivity efforts within Pod operations and provides financial and reporting support to senior leadership. Responsibilities include owning budgeting, forecasting, tracking, funding, and reporting for projects across BU and Pod, including Capex, R&D, Business Development, Cost out, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Pod reporting process and establish BU cost reporting process
  • Support BU president and BU cost lead with financial data and analysis
  • Establish and maintain reporting cadence
  • Provide BU cost leadership with reporting packages and facilitate Factory to Pod meetings
  • Present Manufacturing Results to the Commercial BU CFO
  • Review reports, challenge assumptions, and guide forecasts
  • Support P&L accuracy and prepare financial presentations
  • Conduct standard and ad-hoc analyses to identify business gaps and strategic opportunities
  • Lead monthly performance reviews and annual budgeting
  • Advocate for sound financial planning and accounting practices
  • Provide insights through reporting to support cost management
  • Identify opportunities to improve supply chain finance capabilities
  • Recommend process improvements and organizational efficiencies
  • Engage in M&A activities, cost strategies, and special studies
  • Lead Balance Sheet and Internal Control processes for manufacturing locations
  • Manage a team of 10+ Plant Controllers and approximately 20 FTEs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; CPA, CMA, MBA preferred
  • Minimum 10 years in Finance/Accounting
  • Factory manufacturing experience required
  • Strong business acumen, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to multitask, make decisions, and influence teams
  • Experience with Power BI and SAP desired

Our Total Rewards philosophy is to provide a meaningful and flexible spectrum of programs supporting our diverse workforce and their families.

Salary Range: $159,400 - $199,200

Bonus: Performance-based bonus eligibility

Compensation varies based on region, experience, and skills.
