Job summary

Bulge Bracket Bank in New York is seeking an Associate for its FIG Insurance investment banking team. You will work on buy-side and sell-side M&A for insurance brokers, MGAs, and the broader distribution and services ecosystem, partnering with senior bankers on strategic advisory work.

This execution-focused role requires handling modelling, valuations, client materials, and diligence to drive deals to close, with direct exposure to active insurance M&A activity.

Qualifications

• Current Associate (or a strong senior Analyst close to promotion) in FIG or insurance investment banking at a bulge bracket bank or an insurance-focused boutique
• Hands-on experience running both buy-side and sell-side M&A processes
• Deal experience in insurance distribution, brokerage, MGAs or insurance services is a big plus. Carrier-focused bankers with strong M&A execution will also be considered
• Strong modelling and valuation skills, and comfort working directly with senior bankers and clients

I'm working with a bulge bracket investment bank looking to hire an Associate into its FIG Insurance team in New York.

The role sits on the insurance services side of the team, covering insurance brokers, MGAs and the wider distribution and services ecosystem. You'll work directly with senior bankers on buy-side and sell-side M&A for strategic and private equity-backed clients, along with capital raising and broader strategic advisory work.
