Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Associate Field Engineer to join the Water/Wastewater team in Los Gatos, CA. The role offers hands‑on field experience and supports project documentation and coordination under the Chief Inspector.

You will document non-conformances, coordinate with inspectors, track RFIs/NCRs, and assist with logs and reports while performing admin duties under project management guidance. This position is part of the Critical Infrastructure team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) and typically 0+ years of related work experience.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and willingness to work primarily in the field.
• At least three years of recent experience using CM software systems.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel), Bluebeam, and P6, with familiarity with construction documentation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support quality control by documenting non-conformances and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Collaborate and coordinate with other field inspectors and managers.
• Assist with tracking and updating logs for RFIs, NCRs, and other construction documentation.
• Be able to perform administrative duties under the direction of project management.
• Contribute to monthly progress reports, RFI reviews, As-built drawing reviews, equipment list coordination, QC documents, and meeting minutes under guidance from the Chief Inspector.
