Associate Fashion & Social Editor, Who What Wear
Who What Wear is seeking an Associate Fashion & Social Editor to join our dynamic team. If you are creative, performance-driven, and skilled at producing innovative fashion and shopping stories across social media and our website, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Create and film front-of-camera videos for social channels, linking to editorial stories
- Collaborate with the senior editor to produce short-form videos from industry events and brand visits
- Edit social content clips, source images, and research scripts
- Develop cross-channel promotion strategies for social content
- Build and maintain a strong online presence aligned with Who What Wear's brand
- Produce weekly on-site stories and social content, responding to trends and analytics
- Capture content at events and shoots for social media
- Write daily fashion content, including trend reports, shopping guides, and SEO articles
- Monitor analytics to meet audience and affiliate goals, adjusting strategies accordingly
- Enhance collaboration between social and editorial teams to optimize content performance
- Innovate to grow our Gen Z audience through viral content and brand engagement
- Establish relationships with PR, brands, and industry experts for exclusive insights and event access
- Stay informed on industry trends and pop culture to inform content creation
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of fashion content writing for digital platforms
- 2+ years creating social media content for brands and publications
- Excellent communication and visual storytelling skills
- Deep knowledge of the fashion industry
- Strong online portfolio of high-performing content
- Creative, data-driven decision-making skills
- Experience collaborating across teams and using social editing tools like Canva and Capcut
- Basic understanding of affiliate marketing, HTML, CMS, and analytics tools
Benefits:
- Salary range: $57,000 - $75,000
- Hybrid work model in New York (3 days in-office, 2 remote)
