EMCOR Facilities Services in Massachusetts is seeking an Associate Facilities Manager to oversee campus‑wide systems, coordinate maintenance, and support critical infrastructure across office and lab spaces.
You will manage vendor services, monitor BAS/EMS alarms, and coordinate emergency response, ensuring safe, reliable operations while collaborating with Facilities, EHS, Security, IT, and lab staff. Strong technical knowledge and communication are essential.

The Associate Facilities Manager supports the day‑to‑day operation, maintenance, and reliability of campus‑wide building systems and infrastructure. Working under the direction of the Facilities Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, overseeing vendor‑contracted services, supporting facility improvement initiatives, and ensuring critical building systems operate safely and efficiently. The Associate Facilities Manager serves as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, service providers, and facilities personnel, helping to maintain operational continuity across office, laboratory, and support facilities. This position requires strong technical knowledge, effective communication skills, and the ability to respond quickly to operational and emergency situations while supporting a high‑performance facilities management program.

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering Technology, Building Operations, or a related discipline. Experience supporting laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, higher education, or research facilities

Experience supporting laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, higher education, or research facilities. Familiarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and computerized alarm management platforms. Experience with contractor management programs and preventative maintenance planning.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspond accordingly. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
Familiarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and computerized alarm management platforms. Experience with contractor management programs and preventative maintenance planning. Knowledge of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements within office and laboratory settings.
