Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an Associate for its Executive Compensation and Benefits practice, with 2–3 years of experience. The role supports complex matters across a flexible office footprint, including Austin, TX. You will advise on compensation plans, benefits, and related regulatory compliance while collaborating with deal teams and corporate partners.

Ideal candidates hold a JD (LL.M. a plus), admission to the bar, and strong research, drafting, and client service skills to manage

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefits
• Experience at a large law firm preferred
• Admission to the applicable state bar or eligibility for admission

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on executive compensation and employee benefits matters
• Support mergers and acquisitions, financings, and initial public offerings from a compensation and benefits perspective
• Draft and review equity and incentive compensation plans and related agreements
• Provide guidance on executive employment matters, including hiring, termination, and exit arrangements
• Counsel clients on compliance with Section 280G, Section 409A, ERISA, and related regulations
• Assist with public company reporting and disclosure obligations
• Conduct legal research and analysis on compensation and benefits issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including corporate deal teams
