Job summary

Power Design Inc. in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking an Associate Estimator.

You will support accurate electrical estimates for multifamily and commercial projects within the Change Order department, partnering with a regionally aligned team and construction groups to transfer awarded projects. The role requires 1+ years of electrical estimating experience or a relevant degree, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency in Accubid and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related degree preferred or 3–4 years of electrical field experience.
• 1+ years of relevant electrical estimating experience.
• Motivated problem solver with a focus on customer service.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
• Excellent communicator, organized and detail-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software (Accubid preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct lighting fixture counts by reviewing construction plans and blueprints.
