Responsible for maintaining and enhancing clinical and business systems to support patient care delivery. This position analyzes business problems and recommends solutions that align with organizational goals. This role collaborates with clinicians and end users to design, build, test, train, implement, evaluate, and maintain Epic and other associated systems. In addition, this position coordinates with physicians and end users to document workflows, perform gap analysis, and develop future workflows during new implementations. This role requires effective communication with hospital leadership, clinicians, physicians, and ancillary department staff. Collaborates with various departments to streamline documentation workflows and supports the implementation of best practices in clinical documentation. Develops and maintains a robust knowledge of the product initiatives and categories supported, ensuring data integrity and effective communication of findings. Other duties as assigned. Designs, builds, and configures within assigned Epic system modules and supporting third-party applications. Develops test scripts and materials for end-to-end workflow testing, performs unit, system, and integration testing, and documents outcomes. Troubleshoots issues or system deficiencies, initiates escalation procedures, and provides recommendations for resolution. Remains current on industry trends and vendor/application/system updates, ensuring software modifications/upgrades work according to Epic specifications. Follows departmental standards for software configuration control, quality assurance, and version releases, providing documentation and training on system upgrades and new releases. Participates in multiple cross-functional projects, utilizing project planning and coordination methodologies, tools, and lean methodologies. Actively participates in project, team, departmental, and other meetings, reporting status updates, accomplishments, tasks, and barriers to the manager. Serves as an active member of the Clinical Applications Team, dedicated to developing electronic documentation solutions that support clinical workflow and practice. Provides on-call support in a 24/7 production systems environment, acting as the primary support contact for the application's end-users.

Pay Range: $60,756.80 - $113,006.40
