Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Associate Project Manager, Engineering to lead multi-discipline engineering efforts through FEED, detailed design, construction, and commissioning on large oil & gas projects.

You will mentor engineers, manage interfaces with clients and vendors, ensure schedule and cost control, and uphold safety and quality standards across domestic and international work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive engineering experience in industrial/heavy manufacturing.
• Experience leading engineering teams on large-scale capital projects ($500M+).
• Strong knowledge of EPC execution models and stage-gated development.
• PE license preferred; international vendor and global team experience.
• Experience with digital engineering tools and scheduling (Primavera P6/MS Project).
• Familiarity with cost control, AFE development.

Responsibilities

• Engineering Leadership & Management: lead multi-discipline teams and set execution plans.
• Project Execution: manage engineering from conceptual design to commissioning.
• Technical Scope: oversee design integration across utilities, offsites, and infrastructure.
• Safety, Quality & Compliance: uphold process safety and quality systems.
• Construction & Field Execution: support bids, field engineering, and commissioning readiness.
• Stakeholder & Client Interface: present solutions and risk assessments to leadership.
