Job summary

RICK is seeking an Associate Engineering Designer in Tucson, Arizona to join a multi-disciplinary team on meaningful, landmark projects. You will help move projects from conceptual design to final plans, including plats and plans for subdivision and land development, with emphasis on roadway, utility, and drainage design and earthwork calculations.

Qualified candidates will typically hold a BSCE (preferred) with two years’ experience or six years' equivalent in land development, and CADD

Qualifications

• Qualified candidate will have a BSCE degree (preferred) and two (2) years’ work experience or the equivalent work experience of six (6) years in land development and/or public works.
• Experience must include the ability to take plans from conceptual design to final plans, as well as preparation and processing of plats and plans for subdivision and land development projects, including roadway, utility, and drainage design, grading and earthwork calculations.
• Knowledge of jurisdictional codes, standards and procedures in the Tucson Area is preferred.
• CADD experience is required.
• A good driving record is required.
• Preferred EIT (Engineer-in-Training) or ability to obtain within 6 months of being hired.
