Summary
The Test Manufacturing Associate Engineer repairs and improves manual and automated test equipment and supports programs that are used for product testing and design verification.
Hourly rate + Shift Premium, Eligible for OT and Eligible for quarterly bonuses
Detailed Description
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Under supervision and with assistance, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing test applications
- Debug test systems
- Assist with equipment optimization based on feedback from production technicians and operators
- Maintain with minimal supervision, the continuing performance of legacy test equipment
- Experience with National Instruments automated test equipment platforms
- Strong knowledge legacy windows platforms
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits
- Ability to utilize, troubleshoot, and repair test equipment (i.e. oscilloscopes, soldering irons, multimeters, logic analyzers, function generators, frequency counters, power supplies)
- Required knowledge of electrical test equipment
- Knowledge of PC architecture and PC based test equipment
- Familiarization with data gathering & analysis
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight deadlines
- Ability to evaluate, prioritize, and solve problems to ensure their timely and accurate completion

Typical Experience
- 2-4 years experience in troubleshooting complex electronics
Typical Education
- Associates degree in Electrical Engineering + Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Or equivalent technical work experience with 2+ year experience
Physical Demands
- Duties of this position are performed in a manufacturing environment
- Duties may require prolonged Standing & Walking: Spending 6 to 8 hours on your feet, often on hard concrete floors, with minimal sitting time.
- Awkward Positions: Bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, or reaching overhead to access machinery, assemble parts, or perform maintenance.
