Job summary

Eurofins USA Consumer Product Testing is seeking an Associate Engineer to join a small, growing team. This role blends hands-on product testing with client-facing duties and focuses on hazardous locations conformity, technical reporting, and liaison with manufacturers and certification bodies.

You will prepare test plans, technical files, and certificates, draft comprehensive test reports, support quotations with the sales team, mentor trainees as needed, and travel domestically or

Qualifications

• Experience with Hazardous Locations standards (UL/CSA/IEC/EN 60079 series; UL 1203; UL 121201).
• Experience with ordinary locations standards (UL/CSA/IEC/EN 60950-1; 62368-1; 61010-1; 60355-1; 60745-1; 62841).
• Experience in electrical and mechanical testing to UL/CSA/IEC/EN standards (60950-1; 62368-1; 61010-1; 60355-1; 60745-1; 62841; 60079 series).
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assess products designed to national, regional and international standards for use in Hazardous Locations.
• Prepare technical reports, technical files and certificates.
• Prepare test plans and work with the test engineer to conduct tests correctly and safely.
• Occasionally conduct tests in Eurofins labs or at customer sites.
• Provide technical advice meetings with clients.
• Prepare test reports.
• Occasional travel domestically or internationally.
• Prepare quotations in partnership with the sales team.
