Job summary

NEOTech seeks a capable engineer to perform implementation duties related to product and process support within a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Role emphasizes adherence to ESD, risk management, and developing manufacturing work instructions while aligning with ISO9000/AS9100 standards and quality objectives.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Engineering or related coursework; BS in EE preferred.
  • Experience with ISO9000/AS9100 is a plus.
  • Experience using Windows OS and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all ESD requirements.
  • Perform risk management and FMEA process validation.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
  • Interpret specifications and drawings.
  • Develop test and manufacturing work instructions.
  • Support production line layouts and assembly/test areas.
  • Draft manufacturing work instructions.
  • Training for IQ/OQ/PQ implementation as needed.
  • Exposure to DFM/DFA principles.
  • Support internal audits of quality systems.
  • Comply with training plans and 6S objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Summary

Perform implementation duties relating to product and process support. Can be part of multidisciplinary engineering staff.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all ESD requirements
  • Risk Management/FMEA Process validation.
  • Communication, both written and verbal, with customers and associates.
  • Interpret specifications, drawings and engineering instructions.
  • Develop test and manufacturing work instructions.
  • Support production line layouts in the assembly and test areas.
  • Draft product manufacturing work instructions.
  • Must be able to be trained for the implementation of Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), Performance Qualification (PQ).
  • Exposure to Design for Manufacturability (DFM) or Design for Assembly (DFA).
  • Train and perform Quality Management Systems cross functional internal audits.
  • Comply with all in-house training as identified in job specific family and or specific training plan.
  • Support all corporate and site 6S objectives.
  • Perform all other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Ability to utilize electronic manufacturing systems
  • Ability to diagnose/troubleshoot.
  • Ability to interpret specifications and schematics.
  • Basic mechanical drawing skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Corrected vision with the ability to work with fine tools under a microscope
  • Ability to work in a production environment wearing a smock, hairnet and face mask as required
  • Ability to read and write English at an intermediate level
  • Ability to work in a team and be a good team member.
  • Sense of urgency, successful in meeting company quality and production objectives
Experience/Education
  • Associate degree in Engineering or additional coursework or on-the-job training in electronics or electrical engineering. BS Degree in EE preferred.
  • Experienced using Windows operating systems including Microsoft Office products
  • Experience working for an ISO9000 or AS9100 accredited organization is a plus
