Applicants must pass pre-employment screening, be willing to work overtime, and endure various weather conditions. The job requires physical effort, climbing, and PPE usage in a dynamic grain facility setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
• Flexibility to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions (extreme heat, cold, high winds).
• Comfort with climbing ladders, heights, and confined spaces.
• Able to work in environments with grain dust and airborne particles.
• Wear PPE such as hard hats, safety glasses, and safety footwear.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing grain; assist with weighing and grading of grain trucks.

• Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing grain while assisting with the weighing and grading of grain trucks.


• Operate heavy equipment (loaders, skid steer loaders, track mobiles, rail car movers, etc.)


• Manage grain storage by creating and moving grain piles, as well as performing general cleaning and housekeeping of bins and storage structures.


• Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and promptly reporting any unsafe practices or hazards.


• Perform general maintenance tasks as needed to support operations.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening


• Flexibility to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.


• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat (90-120F), cold (subzero), and high winds (40+ mph).


• Must be comfortable with climbing ladders, heights, and working in confined spaces


• Must be able to work in environments with dust and airborne particles, including grain dust


• Wear required PPE, such as hard hats, safety glasses, and safety footwear.


• Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. multiple times per day and standing on hard surfaces for extended periods


• Experience in a grain facility preferred but not required
