Job summary

Olsson seeks an Associate Electrical Engineer to join the Federal Engineering and Design Team. You will assist in planning and designing electrical systems for federal facilities, gaining exposure to UFC, DoD, VA standards, and tools like Revit and AutoCAD.

You will collaborate with engineers across disciplines, support project schedules, and may travel to sites for design development and coordination, contributing to national defense and public infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Assist in the design of electrical systems for federal facilities, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, communications, and life safety systems.
• Perform engineering calculations, system layouts, and equipment selections under supervision.
• Develop knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, standards, and best practices.
• Use Revit, AutoCAD, or other electrical modeling and analysis tools.
• Collaborate with mechanical, civil, structural, and architectural teams on design coordination.
• Travel to project sites and federal installations to support design development and coordination.
