Position Summary

The Engineering Associate position is an entry level individual contributor role within the Electrical Engineering team. The focus is to leverage the basic principles, theories and methods acquired through education and jobs / internships and apply these to analog, digital or power designs. The ideal candidate must be willing to learn the many aspects of design and product development specific to Space / Defense environments. Key Responsibilities

• Design Analog and high‑speed digital circuits, including schematic capture and PCB layout specifications.
• Collaborate across disciplines to define product requirements and deliver technical presentations.
• Leverage modeling programs and tools to simulate circuits and interfaces and reduce design risks.
• Document designs, analyses, and results with clear, concise reports.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Deep understanding of the basic principles of electrical / electronic engineering design – having worked with processors, digital logic, analog circuits, and basic power circuits.
• Knowledge of board design (interface requirements), schematic creation, and digital simulation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to produce technical documentation.
• Experience with lab instrumentation (DMM, Oscilloscope, …) to perform troubleshooting (hands‑on), board bring‑up, and cross‑disciplinary collaboration.
• Problem solving skills.
• Organization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Schematic Capture / Creation tools & PCB Layout Tools.
• Knowledge of Space grade electronics design and development.
• Experience with VHDL/Verilog coding for space applications.
• Experience with Signal Integrity analysis tools, PSPice, Mathcad and other essential design tools.

Salary Range Transparency

Phoenix, AZ $75,000.00–$105,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
