You will lead field studies, delineations, and protected species investigations, and prepare reports for GDOT and other agencies, with a focus on delivering timely environmental compliance. Ideal candidates have 8+ years of related experience, a BS or MS in environmental science or ecology, and proficiency with ArcGIS, Microsoft

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related work experience as an Ecologist (required).
• Certifications such as PWS or TN QHP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret maps and plans for environmental analysis.
• Lead biological field studies including wetland delineations and protected species investigations.
• Prepare GDOT and regional DOT ecology documentation and technical memorandums.
• Calibrate and maintain field equipment.
• Coordinate data collection and delivery of technical reports.
