Job summary

Spring Glen Veterinary Hospital in Renton, WA, seeks a dedicated Associate DVM to join our AAHA-accredited hospital within the WellHaven network. The role emphasizes high-quality veterinary care, client service, and team collaboration to support the hospital’s growth and community trust.

The Associate DVM will work onsite, perform anesthesia and surgery, and mentor staff while maintaining ethical medical standards.

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required.
State Veterinary Board License.
On the first day of employment, must be in good standing with the state(s) employed to work for WellHaven.
Current USDA Accreditation is a plus!

Responsibilities

Ensure high-quality care and exceptional client service.
Adhere to WellHaven protocols and practices.
Collaborate with the Principal Doctor to establish development plans.
Practice veterinary medicine in compliance with laws and ethics, maintain medical records.
Maintain thorough and accurate medical charting for all patients.
Provide comprehensive client communication in-person, by phone, and email.
Participate in community events and hospital projects.
Demonstrate proficiency in anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, and current practices.
Advocate for client service and patient well-being.
Provide medical training to support staff and lead teams as needed.
