Job summary

US Foot and Ankle Specialists in Port Charlotte, FL seeks an Associate Podiatrist to join our growing practices. You will evaluate and treat foot and ankle conditions, develop treatment plans, and coordinate conservative and surgical care with a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate holds a DPM, will complete a podiatric residency or be in the final year, and is board eligible or certified. Florida licensure or eligibility is required; join a patient-focused, growth-oriented podiatry group

Qualifications

  • DPM degree from an accredited podiatric medical school.
  • Complete a 3-year podiatric residency or be in final year.
  • Board eligible or board certified (ABPM/ABFAS) or pursuing.
  • Florida podiatry license or ability to obtain licensure.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat conditions of the feet and ankles.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate care.
  • Provide conservative and surgical interventions as appropriate.
  • Educate patients on foot care, injury prevention, and lifestyle changes.

Position Overview

The Associate Podiatrist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat conditions affecting the feet, ankles, and lower extremities. Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, providing conservative and surgical care, utilizing orthotic devices, coordinating physical therapy, and educating patients on foot care, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
