Job summary

Qualifications

  • DPM degree from an accredited podiatric medical school.
  • Completion of a 3-year podiatric residency program or currently in the final year.
  • Board eligibility or board certification through ABPM/ABFAS, or pursuing certification.
  • North Carolina podiatry license or ability to obtain licensure.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat conditions of the feet, ankles, and lower extremities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide conservative and surgical care.
  • Utilize orthotic devices and coordinate physical therapy as needed.
  • Educate patients on foot care, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications.

Position Overview

The Associate Podiatrist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat conditions affecting the feet, ankles, and lower extremities. Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, providing conservative and surgical care, utilizing orthotic devices, coordinating physical therapy, and educating patients on foot care, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
