Job summary

Vertex is seeking an Associate Director, Workforce Intelligence to lead planning analytics, forecasting, and executive reporting for its workforce strategy. You will design applied research, build automated analytics using Python/R and SQL, and collaborate with People Analytics, DTE, and data platform teams to deliver decision-ready insights with governance and responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in industrial-organizational psychology or related field; doctorate preferred.
• 8+ years of applied workforce analytics, reporting, and forecasting experience.
• Experience advising senior leaders on workforce planning and organizational decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead workforce planning analytics, reporting, and forecasting across headcount, attrition, and costs.
• Produce trusted, decision-ready workforce reports for senior leaders with clear assumptions.
• Advance conversational analytics and self-service querying for plain-language insights.
• Automate recurring reporting and data preparation with approved AI tools.
