Job summary

Temple University’s Wellness Resource Center on the Philadelphia campus seeks an Associate Director to lead strategic health promotion messaging, community development, and office operations.

The role manages a team of health promotion practitioners and student peer educators, oversees social media and digital identity, and coordinates events and program evaluation. Hybrid work may be possible after the probationary period.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in relevant field and 2+ years in program design, implementation, evaluation in university setting.
• At least 2 years supervising full-time staff.
• Experience with student leadership and community engagement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads health communications efforts and brand-aligned messaging.
• Manages events, space reservations, and budget coordination.
• Supervises professional staff and student workers; mentors peers.
• Implements QA through conferences and continuous improvement.
• Collaborates across University and divisions.
