The Associate Director contributes to policy development and cross‑functional projects, maintaining strong internal controls. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in banking or treasury operations, deep cash management knowledge, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
  • 5+ years of banking or treasury operations experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cash management, banking operations, and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook, with intermediate Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities; capable of independent decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain bank accounts and repository for accuracy.
  • Support internal teams with bank account inquiries and banking services.
  • Administer online bank portals and access entitlements.
  • Assist with adding new bank accounts to the servicing platform.
  • Assist with managing the ACH strategy process.
  • Prepare data/documentation for Treasury audits.
  • Approve treasury funds requests, templates, and vendor wire instructions.
  • Process account closures and termination of control agreements.
  • Investigate overdraft issues and resolve them with banking partners.
  • Support daily team management and cross‑department collaboration.

Job Summary

The Associate Director, Treasury will play a critical supporting role within the Treasury team, reporting directly to the Executive Director of Treasury. This position is responsible for assisting with bank account management, serving as a systems administrator for treasury platforms, and ensuring the integrity of auditing controls. The Associate Director will contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of treasury policies and procedures, and will facilitate director‑level approvals as required. Additional responsibilities include executing special projects and other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director, with a focus on operational excellence, compliance, and risk mitigation in all treasury activities.


Responsibilities


  • Maintain bank accounts and repository for accuracy.

  • Support internal teams with bank account and banking service inquiries.

  • Administer online bank portals and related access entitlement needs.

  • Assist with adding new bank accounts to the servicing platform.

  • Assist with managing the Automated Clearing House Strategy process.

  • Gather data and documentation to support Treasury audits.

  • Approve treasury funds requests, template setups, and vendor wire instructions.

  • Process account closure and control agreement termination requests.

  • Investigate and resolve bank‑reported overdraft issues.

  • Assist with overseeing daily team management and leadership.

  • Collaborate across Treasury functions and communicate with other company divisions.

  • Support the Executive Director of Credit Administration as needed.


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • 5+ years of banking or treasury operations experience, including bank account maintenance.

  • Working knowledge of banking and/or Treasury products and services.

  • Strong understanding of cash management, banking operations, and financial analysis.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook, with intermediate Excel skills.

  • Strong problem‑solving skills with sound analytical judgment.

  • Ability to make sound decisions independently.

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and engage with banking representatives.
