Job summary

MoonLake Immunotherapeutics seeks a seasoned Learning and Development professional to build and execute U.S. commercial training for the potential MoonLake launch of sonelokimab in HS.

You will create learning programs that prepare customer-facing teams with the knowledge, skills, and confidence for launch and sustained in-market excellence. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or L&D certification preferred.
• 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech, with 3+ years in commercial training or related roles.
• Experience designing training for specialty/biologic products; launch exposure preferred.
• Strong instructional design, facilitation, coaching, and analytics skills.

• Design knowledge checks, assessments, and readiness reporting.
• Prepare leaders through train-the-trainer programs and coaching tools.
• Measure training impact and drive continuous improvements.

Job Purpose

Build and execute MoonLake's commercial training capability for the potential U.S. launch of sonelokimab in Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS). This role will create and deliver learning programs that prepare customer-facing teams with the knowledge, skills, and confidence required for launch and sustained in-market excellence.

Your profile

Major Accountabilities

• Develop and execute the U.S. commercial training strategy, curriculum, and launch-readiness plan for customer-facing teams.
• Design and deliver new-hire onboarding, disease-state, product, customer engagement, business acumen, market access, and compliant field-execution training.
• Create blended learning experiences using home study, live workshops, virtual learning, field application, certification, and ongoing reinforcement.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Patient Services, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, and Commercial leadership to ensure training is accurate, practical, and aligned.
• Manage training vendors, agencies, faculty, budgets, scopes of work, timelines, and quality standards to deliver programs on time and within plan.
• Own learning content governance, approval workflows, facilitator guides, participant materials, version control, and training records within the LMS.
• Design and administer knowledge checks, skills assessments, certifications, remediation plans, and readiness reporting for commercial leadership.
• Prepare leaders and subject-matter experts through train-the-trainer programs, coaching tools, and consistent facilitation standards.
• Measure training effectiveness using participation, knowledge, confidence, behavior, certification, and business-impact indicators; recommend continuous improvements.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant learning and development certification preferred.

Experience:

• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience, including 3+ years in commercial training, sales training, learning and development, or a closely related role..

Skills/knowledge/behavioural competencies:

• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering training for specialty or biologic products; launch experience strongly preferred.
• Strong instructional design, adult learning, facilitation, assessment, coaching, reinforcement, and performance consulting capabilities.
• Experience with LMS platforms, digital learning tools, content development, virtual facilitation, vendor management, and training analytics.
• Ability to translate complex scientific, clinical, access, and commercial information into clear and practical learning; dermatology/immunology experience preferred.
• Excellent project leadership, cross-functional collaboration, compliance judgment, facilitation, and executive communication.
