UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Associate Director, Tech DevOps Engineer in Nashville, TN.

We’re looking for an Associate Director, Tech DevOps Engineer to:

1. Install and utilize DevOps CI/CD tools, such as Gitlab, GitHub, SonarQube, Jenkins, TeamCity, and Nexus, to engineer processes throughout the software development lifecycle.
2. Ensure secure coding practices, conduct code reviews, and integrate automated testing tools into CI/CD pipelines.
3. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab to streamline the software delivery process. Perform and coordinate infrastructure release upgrades and CI tools when required.
4. Evaluate, plan, and develop source code, build, and migrate from one system to another.
5. Accelerate the cloud adoption journey and migrate on-prem servers to Azure.
6. Implement development best practices and effectively utilize technologies across the DevOps environment. Analyze outages and defective states, initiating and monitoring measures to remedy them.
7. Guarantee a secure infrastructure environment and production stability and performance. Automate and improve development and release processes.
8. Work remotely.

Your expertise

Education & Experience Requirements:

• This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, plus three (3) years of experience in the role or as a Software Engineer or related occupation.
• Experience with GitHub or GitLab.
• Experience with Jenkins, TeamCity, or equivalent.
• Configuring project build automation, Maven, continuous integration build chain, and expanding the adoption and integration of CI build chains.
• Improving automation for repetitive tasks and reporting.
• Evaluating and proposing new tools and plugins.
