Ascend Public Charter Schools in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an Associate Director of Student Services to oversee Special Education compliance, IEP case management, and MTSS programming across Ascend schools. You will partner with the Managing Director of Student Support Services to drive system-wide improvements and ensure high-quality services for all students.

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• 5+ years in special education or related field, including school-based leadership or network-level support.
• 3+ years leading, coaching, or developing school-based teams.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local special education regulations (IDEA, 504, NYS requirements).
• Experience designing and delivering professional development for school leaders and student services teams.
• Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement strategic solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead network-wide student services systems, policies, and procedures for consistency across all schools.
• Partner with the Managing Director of Student Support Services to set priorities, goals, and accountability measures.
• Develop standardized systems for monitoring compliance, IEP case management, and MTSS programming.
• Analyze student services data to identify trends and drive improvements in outcomes.
• Coach Principals and Assistant Principals to strengthen leadership and execution.
• Collaborate with CSE, external providers, and community partners to support student needs.
